ABOUT CANADIAN AXLE

Welcome to Canadian Axle Inc., a new manufacturing company based in South-Eastern Ontario that specializes in Flexiride® Axles, a world leader in Rubber Torsion Axles.

Just like you, we used to waste hours on the phone and searching online for a manufacturer that could meet our trailer build requirements. Typically, one supplier might have Axles in stock for one project but would fall short on additional components or the delivery schedule left much to be desired. We realized that our current suppliers and their limited catalogue of leaf springs was not going to be our answer, we needed to find a more reliable solution.

Through our search we discovered Flexiride® which utilizes a unique cartridge rubber torsion system, the only one of its kind available today. Their intuitive bonded suspension designs can accommodate recreational trailers, food vending trailers, horse and livestock trailers, equipment trailers and with a superior damping performance over conventional leaf springs it works in situations where full-beam axles can’t be used.

We began using Flexiride® for our projects and almost immediately our crew loved working with the products. The quality of the design meant longer, more dependable life for the customer as well as adjustable settings often not included with other Axles.

However, in just a short time our exclusive distributor closed up and we were back to square one again. Through this frustration our team thought “Why not just do it ourselves?” after all we had all the space, equipment, and skills. So, we took a shot and approached The Universal Group (Owners of Flexiride®) to become a licensed Flexiride® manufacturer for North America and we were approved!

Canadian Axle Inc. is extremely proud to now offer all Flexiride® products . Our goal is to remove the typical hurdles you face every day and provide a knowledgeable, courteous service that can deliver exactly what you need to get your trailers on the road.

Our strategic location along the 401 corridor allows for easy distribution to Ontario and Quebec and beyond without the need for customs or increasingly difficult border crossings. We ensure that all orders are expertly packaged to be delivered safely and arrive exactly as they left our shop.
